CHRISTMAS BUFFET & WREATH MAKING
The Flower Club came along and helped us make some lovely wreaths and then we all have a wonderful buffet afterwards.

OCTOBER
GLASS WORK DEMONSTRATION/TALK
Mary Quarmby came along and gave us a good demonstration of her work with glass. Several ladies decided to go on a course with Mary, to have a go for themselves.

ALL YEAR PLANTING IDEAS WITH HUMOUR & ROMANCE
A great morning with John Tucker - we learnt all about planting ideas for our gardens and John showed us slides and spoke about his garden.

CRAFT MORNING WITH SCRAP STORE
We had a very enjoyable morning with The Scrap Store who brought along all kinds of craft items. We all tried our hand at making butterflies, broaches, bunting and other items. Some more successfully than others!

THE 'ANTIQUES MAN' – TALK
Alan Truscott came along to show us some of his more unusual Antiques and talked about his interest in the subject.

SPINNING DEMONSTRATION
Rose Cook came along to give us a demonstration on how to Spin on a Spinning Wheel. She showed us how to take wool straight from sheep and make it into yarn.

MAY
TALK ABOUT BATS
'Bat Man' Mike Chislett came to talk to us about Bats, their habitat, how you know you have bats, what you have to do to protect Bats and the different species of Bats in the UK. We all enjoyed the talk and will be going on a Bat Walk in September.

CREATIVE WRITING TALK
Susan Yockney gave us a talk about how she got into writing books and how she got her ideas.

ANNUAL MEETING/DENMAN WI COLLEGE TALK
We had our Annual Meeting and afterwards Christine from Denman WI College gave us a talk about the courses etc which are available to WI members.

HERBALIST - TALK/DEMO
Samantha Entwisle came along to give us a very interesting talk about her business as a Herbalist, she also brought along examples from the field that could be used to help keep us well.

LACOCK TALK/SLIDES
David and Bob from Lacock Positive Photographic Club, came along to give us a talk/show slides on their project about Lacock. It was interesting to hear all about the village through the ages.
